Friends! I Keep promising you that I will be keeping up with more recipe posts & I feel like I keep letting you down!
I can’t tell you all how much I love having you request recipes when I post photos to instagram & I really want to do my best to post them quickly for you, but sometimes I really just don’t know where the time goes. But it was a rainy Vancouver day today, so we had a nice cozy day at home, giving Cole & I some much needed time to catch up on some things we have been putting off.
Happy Friday lovelies!
Long time – no recipe share huh!? I’ll say! It’s been a whirlwind of a summer, but the dust is starting to settle & I promise I will be blogging more recipes in the coming weeks. Especially as the seasons to Fall, because it is after all my most favourite season – for many reasons but mainly because it is the season on apples & apples are probably my favourite seasonal fruit to bake with (and you know… eat, obvs).
So I though what better way to welcome in fall, than with a recipe that has fresh apples as the star!
First things first – I’m not sure if you guys already know this, but just in case you didn’t, I thought I would tell you something pretty awesome; It’s officially Friday! YAY!!!
So in honour of this glorious day, what say you and I celebrate by baking up some deliciousness, in the form of these Blueberry Crumble Bars, which we can then spend our weekends devouring – that is if it lasts you the whole weekend, (psst… they won’t in my house,) Sound good? Alright then, let’s do this!
Good morning lovelies! So who else is so excited that Summer is finally here!? I just love summer – literally everything about it!
What are your favourite things about this gorgeous season? Here are a few of mine… Gorgeous sunshine, warm breezes, naps in the shade, aimless road trips, barefoot strolls, pink sunsets, long nights, early hikes, shorts & flip flops, sun kissed shoulders, freckled cheeks, beach days, sand castles, moonlight swims, sneaky splashes, salty hair, wet bathing suites, sandy toes, camping trips, camp fires, marshmallow roasting, s’mores making, BBQ everything, popsicle making, melting ice cream cones, farmers market wanders, & alllllll the fresh summer fruit!
So yeah, I pretty much love everything about Summer, but I especially love the last one; summer fruits – mostly because baking with fresh fruit is probably my favourite thing ever. Case in point – these Fresh Apricot & White Chocolate Scones.
Happy Friday peeps!!
Who else is saying a big “Heck Yes!” to this weekend? I am so ready for it! Mostly because I’m just super over-excited for the activity I have planned for my Saturday – aka my very first Wedding Dress appointment!!! Eeeepss! I’m so excited you guys!
Also it’s officially the first week of Summer, so you know I couldn’t just leave you guys hanging without hookin’ you up with a killer Ice Cream recipe to celebrate, right!?
Happy Tuesday lovelies!
Is it just me or was yesterday a tough Monday? Maybe it’s just me, but it felt sooooo long. Probably because I just couldn’t wait to finish work & post this recipe for you guys!
For those of you who follow me on SnapChat (KrisPry11), you will know that I snapped the recipe & making of these amazing Donuts this past weekend. However, being that Snaps dissapear in the land of no return after 24 hours, and for those of you who are not on the SnapChat train – I thought it would be a good idea for me to post the recipe. Agreed? 😀
Why hello lovelies! Happy Friday!
I’m so excited to be here sharing this recipe with all of you all on the Tastes of Lizzy T website today just in time for the weekend! There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh, homemade muffins on a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning, so I hope this post inspires you to whip up a batch this weekend!
So head on over to the Tastes of Lizzy T website to see my full post & recipe!
Happy Baking & have a lovely weekend <3 <3
Happy Tuesday lovelies! I am so excited to be partnering up with Best Friends for Frosting to share this super simple recipe for my Banoffee Pie Granola Bars with you today!
Not only do these granola bars make for an amazingly delicious breakfast or snack, but they also double as a super yummy dessert. Basically it’s like getting three meal options for the price of one – and what could be better than that ?!
This is a nice big recipe so you can easily serve up a couple slices for breakfast, pack a few leftovers along with you for an afternoon snack, and still have some leftover to reheat and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Mhmmmmm
But how do they taste you ask? Well to put it simply, they taste just how they sound… like a banoffee pie; Honestly, need I say more? The flavor of the caramelized banana combined with the toasty oats and the nutty pecans… It’s simply irresistible. If you are a banoffee pie fan, you are going to absolutely love these granola bars. So head on over to Best Friends for Frosting to get the recipe for these via this link here !
Happy Baking lovelies <3 <3
Why hello lovelies!
Oh my goodness it feels like it was a lifetime ago since I posted anything, so I apologize for being so MIA lately! I have been a busy little bee lately getting prepped for the start of the 2016 Farmers Market season, and I just realized that didn’t make time for recipe post this week! So yes, I am officially the worst blogger ever – but I really wanted to make it up to you with a quick little recipe post that you can hopefully at the very least use for some delicious breakfast / brunch inspiration in your house this weekend 🙂
I have a serious soft spot in my heart for a good, classic chocolate chip muffin. Just the thought of sitting down with a warm, chocolate chip muffin and an ice cold glass of milk gets me all warm and fuzzy inside.
I guess chocolate chip muffins just have a way of bringing back happy childhood memories for me because when my brothers and I were still little, and my mom had to bring us along with her to the mall, she would always reward us with a special treat at the end of our trip if we were well behaved while she did her shopping. The kind of treat would change depending on which mall we happened to be in on a given day, but there was one mall close to home that used to have the most amazing muffin shop in the food court that she would often take us to.
