So in my last post I confessed my addiction for everything and anything pumpkin spiced…. case in point; I am doing my second Pumpkin Spice post of the week. Ha! I told you I’m obsessed. Are you in fall pumpkin spice overload yet? I’m so sorry if Pumpkin Spice isn’t your thing, but I just couldn’t help myself. I have been testing out homemade granola recipes with a good fall theme for our upcoming markets, and this one was such a success I just had to share it with you.
I’ll keep this one short today, because I rambled on and on last time. So here is the gist peeps – this granola… it’s da’ bomb. Uhmm yeah – like seriously DA’ BOMB! I mean honestly, when you combine brown butter, maple syrup and warm spices with pecans and chunky oat clusters of deliciousness……… how can you possibly go wrong?? You just can’t.
So yeah… I fell like this granola requires no further explanation – here is the recipe, but please use it wisely because if you make too much you may find yourself in a similar situation as I, where I consumed a little to much of it for my own good….. and when I say “a little too much” I mean like the whole bowl…. Truth.
Don’t judge – this stuff is dangerous or as my friend Kelly would say “it’s the tits.” Haha – love that girl. Give this one a try and let me know what you think!
It’s official – it’s summer babes! Boo ya!
Okay, so I know the weather in Vancouver has been so gorgeously amazing basically since May – but technically that was still Spring. So now that we have officially passed the June 21st mark, making the arrival of summer 100% official – I am just the happiest girl on earth 😀
This weekend in particular we are heading into our first official “heat wave” of the summer and they are predicting the temperatures to get up to 35 degrees in some areas of the lower mainland – woot woot! I think I have mentioned many times before that I am a girl who loves her sunshine, so I have absolutely no bones about this gorgeous sunshine and all the heat – I say break out the sunscreen, your new bikini, your water bottle, some stylish shades and bring on the beach trips baby! 😀Read More
Alright, so I think that I am granola obsessed – I mean considering three of my last posts have been about granola in some form or another… I think it is entirely fair to call a spade a spade and officially label me as obsessed.
Well, I hope the tales of my granola escapades haven’t begun to bore you just yet because today I am bringing you yet another granola recipe… ta daaaaa! Except – hold the phone – this time the granola isn’t in bar form… so if you want to get technical about it, this is really an entirely different subject matter…. well, sort of 😉
That’s right – this time I am serving you up with a recipe for some regular ol’ granola! Hang on – I think labeling this granola as “regular” is actually a bit of an insult because it is so incredibly delicioussss and wonderful that it can hardly be described as just “regular.” So scratch that regular description and exchange it for the following…. Today I am serving you up with a recipe for some good ol’ fashioned granola! There we go- so much better!
I mean really, just take a look at these golden brown clusters of crunchy, nutty, granola that has been packed with all kinds of yum to make it taste just like an oatmeal cookie! That’s right everybody – this granola tastes just like a warm, Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal Cookie… seriously, need I say more to get you reaching for your mixing bowl? Well, what if I told you that even though this granola tastes like a delicious oatmeal cookie, it is secretly healthy? I bet now I have your undivided attention.Read More
