I don’t know what it is about this holiday season, but I’m feeling super mushy about it – and I’m usually a pretty mushy person around this time , but It’s on a whole other level this year…
I think one of the reasons I am feeling particularly mushy this year is because instead of buying presents for people this year, I have made it a point to instead spend lots of time with them and it has made my heart feel so full; so lucky to have the people in my life that I do; so happy that we found each other to hold onto not only in times of happiness, but also in times of need.
This year has really shown me that there is nothing more important in your life than the people who are there to share it with you, and I have never been more thankful for the friends and family I have in my life.
So my only hope for you is that this is a time of year that you spend quality time with the people you cherish most in your life; people who you love and love you unconditionally back; people who would do anything for you.
Invite them over to bake a batch of holiday cookies and share a pot of hot chocolate with you. Talk, listen and just enjoy each others company.
And to help you out in achieving this, I have rounded up a few of my favourite holiday cookies along with my favourite homemade hot chocolate recipes. I hope you get to enjoy them this season.
Happy Holidays lovelies.
